The Challenge
Buying a mattress is rarely an impulse buy. Consumers usually go through a somewhat lengthy research process that includes companies’ sites, review sites, social media, etc. Additionally, the mattress industry has a small number of leading players and is extremely competitive.
The Polysleep brand already has strong name recognition across Québec and Canada, and they also have a solid digital presence. That said, they are always looking for new ways to reach their audiences, drive revenue and outperform their competitors.
The Solution
To increase awareness, visibility and revenue, Polysleep turned to affiliate marketing, a pay-per-commission model. Affiliate Marketing is a cost-effective way of adding a new revenue stream and being visible wherever consumers are searching for information.
Since Bloom is currently managing Polysleep’s digital advertising initiatives, the agency already had a deep understanding of the Polysleep brand. This knowledge could easily be applied to Affiliate Marketing where we worked hand-in-hand with the Polysleep team, specifically with Vincent Pagé, Affiliate Manager at Polysleep, to bridge the gap between e-commerce marketing and Affiliate and help restructure and internalize their program.
What we did:
- Focus on more partnerships with boutiques, review websites and closed portal sites to drive traffic and layering on coupon and deal sites. This mix of partners allowed us to grow traffic and sales
- Restructure and clean up the account
- Update channel groupings to have a better visual of partner performance
The Result
Polysleep already had a robust digital marketing strategy, which allowed them to successfully implement affiliate marketing.
After 6 months, Polysleep saw:
- ROAS of 14.06
- +7.52% in transactions
- +61.02% in revenue from affiliates
