Jouviance, the leading Canadian skincare company founded by Dr. Sylvestre and biochemist Roger Southin, was created with a focus on simple formulas. They use award-winning ingredients that target common skin concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, loss of firmness, lack of radiance, dry skin, and pigmentation problems. Jouviance offers a wide range of skin products, including moisturizers, serums, and lip plumpers.

The Challenge

Jouviance encountered difficulties with its SEO and struggled to establish a presence in search results due to competition from well-established, larger brands. In March 2022, their average position on Google search results was 74.89, making it difficult for the brand to gain organic visibility amongst so many other competing brands.

The Solution

Bloom’s SEO team identified key opportunities to help Jouviance’s organic search presence, specifically on their collection pages. Jouviance offers different product lines, each with unique products that serve distinct purposes. Bloom’s SEO specialists conducted an analysis and identified areas for improvement on these pages that would increase Jouviance’s overall organic exposure.

After review, Bloom noticed that the collection pages did not have enough content to be ranked on relevant keywords and thus gain visibility and higher positioning on Google.

  • Research specific keywords that would align with Jouviance’s Collection pages.
  • Write SEO-friendly introductory content for the Collection pages following Jouviance guidelines and previously conducted keyword research.

With more impressions and higher visibility, Jouviance was able to reach a wider audience, which in turn, had a positive impact on their overall online presence and will position them for even greater success in the future.

  • Jouviance’s search ranking has improved significantly, with their average position in search results increasing by 28 positions compared to its previous ranking.
  • By implementing a new strategy, Jouviance was able to improve its search ranking by nearly 25 positions for certain keywords.
  • Website impressions grew significantly. In January 2023, website impressions increased by 126% compared to January 2022.

Paid campaign results drastically improved as the algorithm acknowledged the website’s relevance for non-branded search queries thanks to SEO improvements. As a result:

  • A noticeable 15% decrease in lost impressions was seen on paid campaigns.
